Obtrusive Ads

I understand that ads are used to generae income for a site but I wish that the ads that take over the home page would go away. I thought I would check some news today, I thought I clicked on the correct tab at the top..but no I get redirected to a developers site for whatever game you were advertising. It is very annoying and one of the main reasons why i do not browse anything but the forums here.

I am sure I will get a generic response, or even told to not come here if I don't like it. However, I have been a fan of your site and over the past couple of years the ads have become over kill and really slow down what used to be an enjoyable experience. I don't hate you for the ads..I just wish they would stop covering up the stuff I actually care about.

We all hate ads too :p but I think if you're a subscriber you can bypass that, more info in the link.

Right on, I'll check that out. My main gripe is how they like take over your screen. :(
