Loadout! the game

I'm playing the game Loadout! and so far it's my favorite game I have on my PlayStation and I play it all the time,BUT all of a sudden my loadout has kept changing everytime I start a match.

I made a gun with the gatiling barrel and rifle chassis, ok, but that's besides the point, every time I start a match with the gatiling barrel it would change to an assualt barrel. and the funny thing is ...is that nothing else on the gun would change except for the barrel alone. Also this doesn't happen with any of the other barrels. I switched the barrel to a sniper barrel and then when I start the match it would stay the same. but when I try to enter a match with the gatiling barrel it would change to an assualt barrel.. can someone help me figure out what the hell is going on before I lose ma damn mind!!!!!!
