I noticed I am no longer a "soapboxed" blogger. While I don't really mind it, I do like to know why. I dunno if it's a glitch, or a personal reason. I just want to know why, as I can't find a valid reason anywhere.

This has happened to someone before. I think it's just a glitch but hopefully a mod or admin can confirm the problem.

This has happened to someone before. I think it's just a glitch but hopefully a mod or admin can confirm the problem. Sharvie
Hmmmm... If it's been happened before, it'll most likely be a glitch - Now, the confirmation and if so, the emblem & SB rights.

I do think it is rather annoying having your emblem taken away because some of your soapbox entries looked like you had taken a great deal of effort to put up. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved soon for you.

I suppose that I'll keep it bumped untill Monday, and then when the elite team of technicians are back, we'll see what caused it.

I wouldn't do that. Instead, wait till Monday to bump it again at the time listed in the banner above.

I feel sorry about your situation. :cry:

Your emblem is gone likely due to a glitch. I haven't seen a person yet with a soapbox emblem have theirs taken away.

I hope it's a glitch. But, maybe I might the first of all who's emblem & soapbox-rights got taken away for X-reasons.

I don't want to do as they say, "rain on the wet", but I also had this issue, tried to get in touch with Customer Support and didn't get a response. I did that about a month or so ago. Only after talking with VinceL through a PM my emblem came back, but I still wasn't back on the user list for the Soapbox, even keeping up the quality of my editorials like they've always been.

I approached the staff directly before that in a post on the Ask Gamespot! forum space, and Jeff said that some users in the list could have been removed due to lack of quality of the posts or even due to abuse of the system. I know for sure that I never abused the Soapbox and neither did my editorials fall in quality - that's one of the main reasons I didn't post a new text every week, so that the quality would surpass the quantity. I also think that isn't the case with Braindead's blog, which in my opinion is one of the more interesting posters on the site, due to his work with games.
