Despite mediocre reviews, EA's shooter hits number one in the UK games charts.
I hope Electronics Arts goes under! After them deciding to cancel Ultima Online 2 and then what happened with Richard Garriot they deserve it! I means its been how long and no new Ultima games because EA bought out Ultima rights just so they could shove it under the rug and get Richard Garriot out. Fuck EA for life!
i enjoyed the first game even though every review site thought it was generic...and this game got rated poorly because of being generic....so im thinking i still might enjoy this too...i'm for sure picking this up, but i might wait for a price drop since im currently broke right now
1 Like I am enjoying this game, Great campaign, realistic missions, and a change of pace from regular missions FPS missions. while you actually get to drive cars through streets, and boats.i dont expect some strange unrealistic story in a realistic shooter, so im just fine with how it was.though a few audio bugs, and sometimes the Ai can be dumb, (taking cover from a wall up to his waist, even though hes standing)just started Multiplayer and i am enjoying that as well.though i need 360 fireteam buddies.
SP is crap ill concede that but the MP is really good. COD fanboy reviewers wont like this game because you have to use teamwork and old school skill.

1 Like Well, it's bound to sell after all the hype. All the fancy videos, tv adverts, magazine adverts, website adverts. You couldn't browse GS for the last months without seeing something with 'Warfighter' on the page.
2 Like MoH multiplayer is why everyone bought the game. GS and others judge it by 3-4h single player who no one even played yet since they are busy killing fools. its not perfect and has some issues but; 7.5/10 is a fair score for multiplayer.
6 Like Of course it is. You shoot a gun from a first person perspective. Which is automatically amazing even when it is executed at a mediocre level. The gaming industry is being held back by its insipid leadership and worse yet, its boring, safe, and .unadventureous customers.

3 Like @antoineflemming Those two games aren't trying to clone each other despite both being military tactical shooters. MoH is EA's half baked version of COD that is cynically being pushed out, unfinished I might add, because EA feels the need to get some cheap revenue without having to think about it because they know there are always people out there ready to lay down their money for another opportunity to shoot guns from a first person perspective.
@Stonecutters908 @antoineflemming Battlefield 3 did the same, BF3 is cool but it doesnt try to be unique as BF:BC2 was or the ones before it.BF3 was full of issues, MOH is a solid game, I dont have any bugs or issues in it. 90+ FPS on full settings. BF3 is a broken game and I feel sorry to say this 'cause Im a BF fan....Waiting to BF4 to be the game that BF3 never was.
It's a great game despite what the haters want to say. Those that have played the game and still want to say the game is crap is looking at the game mechanics entirely the wrong way. It's supposed to be played like a tactical shooter like Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon, not like COD.
2 Like the MP for this game is actually really fun if you have one good friend to play with. it's a very cautious and rather slow paced FPS with methodical gameplay that got someowhat lost in 2007.
the reviewers simply never dove deep enought into it's MP to see that the truth is that it's really different!
if you are a seasoned FPS player who still likes CQC fps and wants something with a different pace- you should try MOH:W. in a niche FPS way, MOH is something with pacing i didn't see since either the COD4 or even RTCW:ET... give this game a try for it's MP and don't listen to reviewers who drive their heads so deep in explaining about why the 4 hour SP is so bad... yeah as if that knowledge will help you in anything! the MP isn't very innovative, but with many niche ideas like the fireteams, the special abilites of the classes it differentiates itself from other shooters well enough.
i could care less about the SP, which i did finish and it did follow shamlessly the DUTY CALLS parody structure very well...the SP is simply a 4 free B movie that you could spend a few hours on if you so wish to. it's like a grindhouse edition to the real deal behind the game- the MP, which is the real meat of this game. should this game get the support it needs to grow, it can really become something special. you don't need to take my word for it, but also don't let the so called professional reviews fool you, this is a pretty unique FPS in it's MP.

stupid ass people, it's number 1 cuz it's just launch. Base on the some famous websites this game sales will be half their expectation due to lack of quality ... this game can't sell more than it's predecessor .... MoH franchise has failed and i can guess it's pretty much dead.
I hope this is not like COD MW3. I think those suck they build them up so much. You go through it in a few hours and are only 50% done. Then you have to play the same senario over in a tougher mode. What a waste.
1 Like I can understand it selling well. I liked the 2010 MOH, despite its glaring flaws, because of a fresh approach to the single player that had some more dramatic and physical weight than other war shooters. For instance, despite its scripted nature, that last stand in a mountain shack against a horde of charging enemies was intense and dramatic, and I felt honest-to-god hopelessness as the sad music crept in to announce that my character might not make it. I hoped the sequel would follow that kind of tone. Obviously, it didn't.
From various reviews, it sounds like that dramatic weight has been lifted in favor of copying a top selling formula that is finally showing its age (or at least people are starting to see it as aged) and following through half-heartedly to boot. It's bad when a sequel doesn't live up to even an average original, but it's downright tragic when it sells itself out into an uninspired marketing ploy and year-by-year placeholder title rather than a genuine attempt to make a good game.

Even with bad reviews and obvious flaws and bad supporting developers/publishes i found games like the last MOH and the Ghost Recon FS, brought at least something semi new to the table. The developers were going off a already over done pace, but there were twists to make each game their own.

1 Like @peladex31 @buccomatic @ziproy A COD copy? only if you are talking about single player campaign. The multiplayer is way different. It is slow pace, the gun has actual recoils. The guns feels different. The maps are well design.
the game has bugs, and if they properly address this like Dice did with BF3 the multiplayer will stay on top for a good amount of time, thats for sure.

I call bull. MoHW ahead of FIFA!?!? I have yet to see more than 18k playing MoHW online at any given time on 360. That's terribad. That's way worse than MoH 2010 did it's first week or so and that game was awful.

@Crossel777 @huerito323 A multiplayer game only show its truly quality with time. the mw3 for example after 3 weeks was noticeable how bad it was. But the review was out 1 day after. This game is good specially the multiplayer. If you care about singleplayer on this types of games, so this game may be crap, but if you play online, this game is great.

4 Like Wow.. I must be of the very few in the UK that doesn't have hilariously bad taste in games.. Who really cares about this small insignificant dot on the map anyway.. I hate living here.. Too many slimey chavs and you can tell those are the type that would buy this kind of game.

It shows that most gamers are 15 year old illiterates with access to their parents' creditcards ...Perhaps we should remember when we denounce developers for dumming down games that they do it because of us .. Most of us want thoughtless, linear and insanely experiences that doesn't provide choices because most of us, apparently, are little shits without the patience to play a proper game.
