Not a game for everyone. Thank God.

Eve is not for everyone. It's a very harsh game. There is non-consensual PvP. If you like a sandbox approach then this is the game for you. It's a game where you have to actually think and not just push buttons. Tactics & outsmarting the enemy is very key here, especially in PvP. There is PvE for those who want it, but that is just a means to a end and not the end of your game experience.

There is a list of things to do in EvE. There is mining, exploration, producing(crafting in some MMOs), invention(which go with producing), PVP, PVE, & conquring systems. It's a very social game. You need other people to accomplish some of more grand things in here and to get into some of the bigger ships as well. Teamwork and paying attention to detail helps here. Yes you can solo missions, but if you want to join some of the biiger fleet battles then you need corporations & alliances(guilds).

The learning curve in EvE is steep. You slowly learn your way around, but after about 6 months of play you'll know about most things. This is a game for people who have patience.
