Dirt 2 is a great racing game. Not the best rally experience though.

Graphically this game looks stunning! I get average 45 FPS running on Windows 7 64 bit, GTX 260, and 4 gigs ram.

Codemasters have these racing games nailed in the feel of the car. You can race from an in car view. This view is awesome! The in car feels realistic and handles the way a car should. The experience is even better if you have some sort of surround sound. The rear speakers are your exhaust note and all the rocks and de bre you kick up.

Sound, graphics, and play control are solid. Where this game falls short in my opinion is the the true rally experience.

There are no legs to the race where you are fixing and tweaking your car between races. A game that originally came from Colin Mcrae i would expect it to be more true the rally sport. This is like NBA Jam to a real basketball game. Its fun, but its not the sport. I want a car and a team i represent. From that car i get sponsors and move up to better teams. I want to buy parts and race with the new parts. If i damage a engine while racing i want that damage to carry over to the next leg of the race. I want to be able to fix my car in between races only with the parts i have purchased. I want WRC.
