Namco,please DO NOT make a number 3.

User Rating: 5 | Dead to Rights II PS2
I was never a huge fan of the original Dead to Rights. The shooting parts were easily the best parts,so when i heard this one had none of the annoying mini games, and was straight action i thought i'd give it a shot. Wow,did i ever make a mistake, and so did Namco. What were they thinking? There are so many problems,i don't even know where to begin. Ok,graphics: better than the first game, but deceidedly average. Music: where is the cd quality soundtrack? I didn't think companies still made MIDI music, that loops every 30 seconds. Gameplay: here's the problem, swarms of enemies that take several shots to bring down,a cover system that works well, but forces you out into the open where you don't have a chance. A cheap checkpoint system that forces you to replay sections so many times over that i lost count. The fighting in the game is even worse than number 1.Overall,poorly designed levels that are too simplistic, and gameplay that feels so outdated you just stop caring after the 2nd chapter. Namco, just leave Jack Slate alone, this series needs to be buried and forgotten.
