Death slap chops his way through earth and hell in this CG trailer for Darksiders II.
SO MUCH RESPECT TO VIGIL GAMES! They are beside CD projekt and Rocksteady my fave studios in this generation and i guess they'll remain there for a long time. I LOVED Darksiders 1 and it's definitely one of my top 5 h&s games i've ever played. these series are PURE art! and I really can't wait to buy it and play it on my pc! HAIL TO DEATH BABY!
@eViL_iTo696 I had the feeling that this series is very much like the legacy of kain series, I'd imagine 4 separate games for each of the for horsmen and then an epic epilogue where you can play the 4 of them, just like in the last LOK game where you get to play both raziel and kain.
the concept of feeding on soul and the gameplay is very similar, which I like very much.
@eViL_iTo696 Im glad im not the only one whos thought this atleast in terms of looks and style. War kinda reminded me of Kain in his Blood Omen 2 armor, his deep voice too. And the way you interact with things and climb walls seemed very Soul Reaver like.
The game marketing tactic is a total bum. No matter where you buy you won't get 100% of the game. I'm boycotting this game and wait till it's 9.99 like the first one before picking it up. Shame, I was reading to pay full price for this one.
@Erzcn24 his name was Raziel.... from Kain series...This game is going to turn out awesome.. its like GOW on PC. I loved the first one..I just hope they make D3 and D4 with the other 2 horsemen also...
@red666devil itll work, they stated they wanted to do mp, but with each character being diffrent. they wanted to do a game for each character.their mechanics will be diffrent tho. war=brute, death=speed and agile. etc..
@fallinGuitarest Well being a brute or a blade assassin like character is cool.Strife also seems cools as a projectile fighter and all...I am not sure what to make of Fury though..That's why i think making a game for both Strife and Fury is more suitable than separating them into two.
@red666devil I can't seem to find a relation between GOW and D..Moreover GOW was released for PC as well (besides for xbox360) not sure about 2 and 3 but certainly 1 was released for PC.Regardless i am not so sure that a D3 and D4 would succeed as much with Strife and
@JangoF-76 Oh play the game first lad and then you will too know who Fury and Strife are...Exactly as gamingnerd121 stated.Furthermore the Biblical names of the Horsemen (the CORRECT ones) are Conquest, War, Famine and Death in that exact order (the first 4 seals) Pestilence is a depiction that has been used by some writers or some famous series like Supernatural but the original is Conquest not Pestilence...
@starfreak500 then all i have to say is : DOH!!!!!Still mistake aside i still believe that a D3 and D4 with Strife and Fury wouldn't be as successful. With Strife maybe yes but Fury?I don;t know.Unless of course if they decide to make a D3 (if they make one at all) with Strife and Fury simultaneously as playable chars.
