Dark Souls has consumed my life, ever since the first moment I put it in my console it has stuck with me and refuses to let go. This action/RPG is unlike anything you have seen on the Xbox 360 and it finally is a game that separates the true hardcore gamers from the rest. Yes the game is hard, but it's never cheap. I can get quite frustrated at games and yet I never once cursed Dark Souls. Death only gives me more drive to succeed and there is no better feeling that finally bringing down one of Dark Souls's outstanding bosses. The combat is immensely satisfying and the classes are balanced perfectly and offer very unique benefits.

Yet perhaps what draws me to Dark Souls most is the mystery of it, there is so much to discover and stumbling upon a new danger will make your pulse race. The world is incredible and the sense of despair and sorrow it conveys are the best I have ever experienced in a game, period. People will complain about the online, that they can't party up with their friends, some have called it broken, but the truth is, the online works perfectly. It operates exactly how From Software wanted it to. This is not game you sit back and adventure off with your friends, this is YOUR quest, and no one else's. If you truly are a hardcore gamer and you have the desire to try something completely new and risky, there is no better game than Dark Souls. This is one of the best games I have ever played.
