A good game to play that's worth its salt.

I happen to come across this game on the bottom shelf thinking of the bad memories I had of the first BoF. It's on the PC, how bad can it be? Gosh I was wrong. It was in fact good, nice graphics for a PC game considering it was running on a s@#%-box that was Windows ME.

To start off, no problems with installation or running it. There was a really nice anime opening scene before you start the game, I just wish I could understand Japanese. The story has been good so far and the characters were not that bad to be fair.

The music was really good. The battle system was better than I thought in that it was icely made and good spells. There was a nice innovation of having to mix your spells during battle to bring in extra combo damage, that and skills too. Some of the spells you can learn during battle when defending, of which can be swapped during camping. You can also learn more skills and spells from other masters by meeting certain criterias.

It was definitely nice to see two sides of the same story through the eyes of Fou-Lu and not just your main character Ryu. There were some emotional and comedy elements in the story. The minigames were not too bad. And yes there's that annoying fishing game, AGAIN!
