There are mixed reviews all over the internet about this game. It's either rated bad or great, there is no in between. And I can fully understand those reviews as this game is not for everyone. In fact, most people that have come to only play run and gun first person shooters are not going to like it at all. This game is the most realistic horror game of all time and with that comes hard gameplay and requires players to think instead of shoot. I you thought you would wack some zombies and then shoot your way to safety, think again. Ubisoft has designed this game around a real life scenario whereas, guns, ammo etc. would be extremely difficult to find. If a disease outbreak hit earth and people turned to zombies, stores, especially food and gun shops would be looted first, not leaving allot to be obtained later on. This is where ZombiU uses the real life scenario and makes you think before you act. And if you're not a thinking, then in this game, you become a dead survivor pretty quick and that's where the negative reviews come in. Allot of the reviewers probably ended up dying and dying and dying, which of course becomes repetitive and boring pretty quick. If they would have approached this game from a "real life" perspective, they would have rated the game better and enjoyed the experience.

You can believe which ever reviews you want and all of them are correct for that individual. You need to decide, are you a run and gun think last type of gamer? or a thinker and innovative gamer?


ZombiU gets a solid 9 out of 10 from me and many other ZombiU slayers on Wii U
