Once yugioh gx began i was waiting untill konami released a game worthy of the great show. Well this is it. The graphical detail to the actual duel academy has been very well presented and not much of academy island is left out. The story has been well transfered and a large majority of the story is closely related to and follows the first season of yugioh gx. All the characters from the show make appearences and can be dueled should they be duelists, the characters decks have also been transfered well from the show to the gba. The game is medium paced and a pleasure to play with 1200 of the cards from yugioh clearly produced in the game. The game also takes a turn away from dueling at times and involves you in the academy exams where you can increase your duelist rank and move up the ranks of the school. Your deck can be constructed however you like to suit your style, theme or preferences. Fans of Yugioh GX will love this and take to it very easily. However those new to yugioh can still get in to this as the in game tutorial is very good and explains clearly the rules and how to play duel monsters. Overall this game is a must buy for Yugioh GX fans.
