The best tactic game I have ever played. If you like final fantasy tactics, fire emblem or dawn of war you will love it! The battles are fun and action packed. They are also filled with tension, because when your soldiers die that's it either load the game or loose that solider forever. On top of the amazing battle systems is an outstanding economic system. Not only do you have to worry about battling, you have to manage your resources, research and engineering. Now I know these are staples in every strategy/tactic game, but the way firaxis does it makes it seem fresh and exciting. The layout of your base and each of the departments is groundbreaking. While I'm playing i keep saying to my self "why didn't I think of that". Firaxis thought about everything. I can't wait for the DLC to come. Xcom is one of the best games I have played and a must have for any strategy/tactic lover.
It is pretty, even though it uses the Unreal Engine, and it's a whopping 13GB in size! After first install it already require you to download a 2GB update to fix a few graphic glitches. Overall, if you have not played... Read Full Review
