XCom 2 simply put as a gamer, is awesome.

However, before I start my gushing review, I have only one major issue. The hangover plot from XCom, Enemy unknown. You start out rescuing the commander, (you) from the evil clutches of the Advent. What the Flock??? When last we left, the aliens were destroyed, the mother ship was in ruins, and "WE" won. Right? WRONG! New plot all your previous work was for nothing. Get past it. I had a hard time doing it.

Outside of that I never had the issues that some have had. I am running a Medium Machine with a Samsung SSD, a NVidia 760 OC, video card, Phenom II X4 955, CPU, 16 meg, ASUS Crosshair V mobo. Not a dog, but not a screamer either. I had no lock ups, or slowdowns, and the only crashes were my own fault. (Cheats happen!!)

Let me say, I use cheats ok. I know wussy time. However, It still takes 8-10 hours just Wang thru it on cheats, sorry I don't have a week for one game!

The game is not like XCOM EUK with air defense. There is no building aircraft. Like the XEUK, It is about ground combat, resource management, and Research. However, it's a lot more about Command. You are going lose soldiers, and you have to choose who gets your help, you choose who gets trained, and what to research first. You cannot please everyone. They have eliminated the continual need to get resources for equipment. Most stuff you research it, you buy it, you get it for all that qualify for that type. Its automatically done for you.

Your main objective is stop the aliens from abduction, destruction, and propaganda. The game is the same in that ground combat is cover, fire, rescue, but also adds hacking. Its a great piece of work, its a keeper and not overrated. Trust me. The only reason I don't give it a 10 is the disjointed plot I covered above. Grab it.
