forts are here but where is the fun?

User Rating: 4 | Worms Forts: Under Siege PS2
After Worms 3D which was actually good, fun and addicting came out Worms Forts:Under Siege and it seems to be something totally else but don't get me wrong every series have to change something to keep it fresh to years to come but a change that will work is a problem to most series of games out there.

So where I begin well first the game is slowed down and a match may take somewhat from 30 minuets to 2 HOURS to finish it can take a little time if there is a HUGE unbalance between the teams which makes the game not fun already to add to that the weapons in the game aren't as fun as they are in the other worms games with no special modern artillery it just doesn't work.

The forts in the game is what made this game special but that is also the thing that ruined.

"Why" You ask?
Well simply because the forts take too much of your time and are also quite frustrating to destroy and that takes away the fun also there are special maps for those forts and those maps are boring and really dull compared to the maps in other worms games and get this there is no option to play without forts so your stuck with fort demolition.

The graphics in the game are quite dull it just feels like the shadows have disappeared and it look similar yet worse then Worms 3D.

The sound in the game is actually remained good the sound effects are fun and the music has that worms feeling but somewhat its not like as good in other worms games but its not bad.

The replay value is as the other worms games but with this kind of gameplay the game won't remain in your PS2 for a long time.

So final verdict the game is disappointing and dull and worms should have stayed in the modern era of war.
