Extremely addicted game. Fun, but starting from a lower league team is a hard challenge.
I must rate this one extremely addicted because since you start playing it you are not gonna stop. 'Just one more match, I promise ...' is something that best described me at the moment. Well yeah, this is definitely the best football manager game. However it will still have bad things that needed to be improved in the next version.
The worst thing: Unrealistic of match results between a week and a strong team. Well, you can say that a weak team can beat a strong time at a small probability. But in FM2008, that things happen regularly. This results from annoying situations that I have experienced:
1. The away-team is treated badly by three things: red cards, penalties, and goal disallowing by offsides and fouls. I have been experiencing this since I started playing the game and it has continuously repeated.
2. 90'-plus goals are more common than reality. Well it is a pain in the ass when you receive one goal in the final minutes which results in a loss or an unwanted draw. This also happened regularly.
I can tell more about the penalties and red cards problems. But you know that 'these things happen' in a simulation game like this. Can't expect more than that.
Rate 10/10 because it is more additive than my girl-friends.
