Don't really see what all the fuss is about.

I admit that downloading this game, even at the 5$ purchase price, had me a little cautions. I've been reading a lot of reviews that've slapped a poor score on this new entry into the Warioware series. Saying such things as "the lighting has to be absolutely perfect," or "the game fails to register your movements". And while these points do hold water to some extent, it ultimately didn't hit me as something that totaled the overall experience.

If you played any of the earlier Warioware games, then you're sure to know what to expect here. You choose from 4 different characters (the greedy Wario, the often funky Jimmy T, the upbeat Mona, and the adventures twins Kat and Ana,) each having their own special set of microgames. These can range from swating at the screen to grab a few coins, to kissing faces popping up left and right of you. The minigames still have that trait oddball humor to them. The downside to this however is that there's only a small handful of them, and with each game lasting only seconds, you'll plow through this theme park in 20 minutes or less. Still, it can be fun to return to these bite size games by yourself or even with a pal.

Now the main problem that's been going around for most players is that the game fails to pick up their movements because of the lighting in the room or the color of their walls. At the beginning of each person's set of microgames the DSi camera has to register your face and lighting of the room before you can begin. This can be a bit of a hassle at times, but for the most part it managed to pick me up without much of a problem. When interacting with the game itself it had trouble every now and again, but so long as the player has a steady surface and a lamp above the system, or even a good amount of sun shine for that matter, the game should be and remain playable.

In conclusion, Wareware: Snapped! is a another innovative entry to the franchise. Though some may see it as a waste of poetential, the end package is still good enough to warrent the 5 dollars needed for play. And what it lacks in value and at times control, makes up for with some fun minigames and a good dose of humor. If you're a Warioware fan than this title ought to give you something to like. Just level out your expectations a bit and it's sure to provide some fun!
