DOW 2 continues the Warhammer series: immersive, challenging, and just plain fun! A great addition for my game library!

Dawn of War II is more enjoyable than I initially thought it would be. The graphics are top notch and the plot/story are just great. I did not have the high speed ISP (DSL/Broadband) required at the time I purchased this game last year. Installation just doesn't happen with a plain, dial-up connection!

The only down side of the game is the initial installation where STEAM takes much time to download the massive updates and patches (yes, even with the high-speed internet connection! We're talking GB's of updates... whew!)

BTW, I really like the new STEAM interface--- much improved over the old one with better, easier navigation abilities and more options to choose from.

I have yet to play the Multi-player game and create an on-line profile.... I know... I know... (what's taking me so long, right?). The on-line options/games are even better! Yes? However, the single-player mode is amazing in my opinion. Gaming has come a long, long way over the years and this game only proves it with its immersive graphics and story line--- there is so much to do! The cut-scenes are great.

With high anticipation, I can hardly wait for the release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, known as being THQ's first venture into the RPG arena, and I'm sure it will be a hit! Game on!
