It tends to show that the video game industry is quite immature in areas and likely always will be as long as there are those who hate change and progress to a more mature industry. The whole 'man is the greatest, women are the sex toys' in gaming comes across as tacky, immature and makes you wonder if developers are sexually repressed lunatics who have issues understanding and accepting that the industry needs to get past what it's become. As for the comments on GTA4, it's a horrible game. So boring and about as much fun as enduring a lecture on some boring prat's holiday snaps. Nico was a terrible character, Rockstar's games are an example of how much the industry needs to move past this whole 'males only' nonsense and move to being more equal in how it attracts both male and female gamers alike.

The main reason why I hate Gamespot? Considering the subject matter your new title is staring you in the face. Fluffer's Guide... Not sure how appropriate that would be when you tackle, say, children's games though.

I personally don't mind gratuitousness sex in video games. The video game industry is still behind film/tv in the sense that years ago sex was taboo in mainstream film and television. As video games become the main medium for entertainment, I expect sex in games to not only become more prevalent but to be widely accepted for "M" rated games. I think the ESRB (which is about as shady as the MPAA) still looks at games as "a kids toy". I think developers would be able to create a better dynamic between love and sex if they were able to experiment more.
