Late review but here it is. Its much better to write the review late after you did everything in the game, specially nowadays where you gotta wait months for CO OP to be released! Reviewing a game in one week is retarded and impossible, unless the game is a short joke.. cough* RE7 cough*..
First graphics. Amazing, the king! The previous king was Killzone SF and it remains as the multiplayer graphics king, but single player UC4 takes the crown. Both run at 1080/30, but like i said in the story mode UC4 has parts that surpass KZSF. In multiplayer while is runs at about 10 FPS more than KZSF the graphics are not as good and same as KZSF is not native 1080p.
The story mode on UC4 is for sure the best of the series. It is the longest and clearly the best looking with the power of the PS4.
Drake continues to be 'monkey man', basically the gameplay is like the old games with some minor differences. You will be taking cover, climbing, shooting, and doing a lot of melee as you progress through the game. It works out quite good in the story mode, sadly online it doesn't.
CO OP! This my friends was the best part of UC3 in my humble opinion. So i was expecting something good here in that department. Not only we had to wait months!! But they gave us no co op adventure, instead just survival aka 'horde mode'. Its cool but... not cool like adventure. At least they gave us something. Sadly co op is not as good as the legendary UC3 or even UC2.
Multiplayer is just as bad as previous games and worse at the same time. Same old UC casual game just to play for fun, but this one got old really fast. Same problems as always with wall camping, blindfiring, and i gotta say the new in game store thing to buy powers/power weapons is very lame. You can't even run anymore like on UC3.. wonder why they did this. To sum it up, same old casual multiplayer, but gets old faster!
Overall UC4 is a must buy. The 2016 graphics king. Best story mode of any UC. While multiplayer is not good and co op is not that great, still a must own game in my opinion.
