Gamers behold--THE BEST PS ONE GAME OF ALL TIME!!! (For rhythym/rock fans, anyways...)
Story--You play as a cartoon lamb named Lammy(duh!)who is as boldly cool and riffy with her guitar as she is literally flat in shape against her 3D environments. She wakes up with 15 minutes to get to her first gig, and to do that, she has to get past a whole bunch stuff and...well...animals. (Some level elements vary depending on which version you have, mainly level 6.)
Gameplay--There's a rythym bar thingy at the top of the screen symbolizing what controller buttons to push and when, mimicking those you come across. However, sometimes if you add some good style to how you play, you get bigger points than you would with just exact repeats. If you're good enough, you can eventually get a solo for a while! With the amazing catchiness and varying types of rock, IT'S TOTALLY FUN AND TOTALLY COOL!!!(For rap fans, there's a part of the game with rap remixes, but you have to beat Lammy's part first.)
Graphics--Like I mentioned earlier, ALL of the characters are paper thin, and just about half are animals. The rest include but are FAR from limited to pumpkins, radishes, onions, milk cartons, and zombies.) They are all in a 3D environment. However, it still looks great for a game of its time, with outstanding originality. Not to mention the excellence of the camera movement.
Sound--Extreme brilliance. These people at Sony...how did they do it? The songs are extremely catchy and really help with the gameplay, and SFX that happen during the game do not interfere with it. Plus, you can unlock things for the guitar such as a reverb or a harmonizer. The voice acting is great...I wish it could have been that way for SA2:Battle(another big fave). I just wish there were more than 7(technically 13)songs to adore.
Value--For me, this game will be as brilliantly stunning as it was to me on my first play as when people don't even know what Playstations ARE anymore, but it might not last that long for some people...even so, you'll wanna play this game over and over again with its great appeal. Now, you can probably get it on Ebay for like, $6 or $7.
Tilt--Wonderfully original, with no other game with this kind of charm except its older cousin(don't ask)Parappa the Rapper.
Well, the point is...I LOVE THIS MASTERPIECE OF A GAME SO MUCH, AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!! This is one game that truly deserves the title of superb.
