Ultima VIII: Pagan

Many of Ultima's series fans, don't understand (and they don´t want to) this excellent masterpiece...

Okay it's quite different from "the old ones", but we have to see it from another point of view.
This game is absolutely gorgeous!
Maybe the VII was the best but this one is a fest.
The luxurious graphics, the dark creepy music, all that intriguing and quite exciting story and also the way you interact with the environment objects made this game one my favourite RPG'S of the 90's...
Sometimes the gameplay get a little bit "silly" and this is the "worst" part of the game for sure.
The best thig the game has: the atmosphere! It´s just brilliant and it will get you deep in the story.
This game is the genesis of action RPG'S and the father of Diablo.

  Though maybe not as attractive to the modern day market, Ultima VIII is an extremely immersing and well-made game.
