This franchise thats been around for 13 years now and thier best game to date came out in 2001
Gameplay:
Twisted Metal was best known for very basic controls where the top 4 buttons,L1 L2 R1 & R2, were for shooting and the rest for driving...very simple. Thats the formula the've been using for 13 years and who ever played the passed 4 games then u know what im talking about.
Visuals:
At the time the grphics for the ps2 were next gen and stands out as one of the most shrp and clear visuals to ever come out on the market and TMB was no exeption. every charecter was well detailed right down to the scars and brusies u see on their skin during cut scenes. and every charecter has diffrent more dark/shallow looks and their more grisly looking cut scenes from someone crusifying themselfs to killing a bride and wearing that victums dress, Pretty much the only reason it got a "M" rating.
Story:
Like in every TM each player has their own goal/story and again calypso gathers the most socialpathic, skitzophrenic, necropheliac drivers (since this time all of them are in a psych ward) he can find but this time each player, even calypso, are some how connected this time but you can find that out once u play the game over and over again...overall the story is still scatterd around...nothing special.
