The Gc lacks of GTA like games, and this one fills that space mora than well enough.
Streets of LA presents a excellent cast and script, one of the best I’ve seen on a videogame, all the chats and jokes are good written to make a good atmosphere in the game cut scenes, the car physics are great, but you can only drive cars… the fight gameplay is fine, sometimes depending on the enemy tactic you have to change your fighting style to make it less push button fights, as the gun fight is, nothing extraordinary but really good.
The city is big and well designed, the music library of this game is varied enough to have something for almost everyone, the game is extended as much as necessary to play it for a lot of time with out getting bored thanks to the history.
The good cop or bad cop is somewhat very limited in choice, for example, you need to be good to make it to the best game ending.
If you don’t have another console besides your Gc this one is a must if you like games with this style, just because it doesn’t have the Rockstar seal that doesn’t mean its bad. I can say its one of the best games on the Gc game collection.
