Addictive real-time and turn-based combat mixed with an aesthetically pleasing design and soundtrack.

User Rating: 9 | Transistor PS4

I would probably give this game a 10 if it were a bit longer. After playing a game for a while I usually can't wait to beat it and be done with it, but right when I finished the final level of Transistor, I restarted it to play on a harder difficulty. That is saying something for me. The combination of real-time and turn-based combat gives a unique fighting system that is very engaging. The different functions and many, many possibilities in arranging them keeps the combat fresh. It took me until the end of my first play through to actually grasp the power of the abilities if I arranged them correctly, or should I say arranged them in a way that fits my play style.

This game also has artistic and visually pleasing levels; very different from any game I've played before. How can I not to mention the music? The soundtrack is great! I even looked some of the songs up on iTunes to hear them again.

Overall, this game is amazing. With not that many games for the PS4 out yet, this game is a definite must-play.
