THAW is probably one of the best Tony Hawk games in the series (THUG is truly the best), but not for its skating. The game has you playing as a skater who gets on a bus to L.A to escape, well... everything. You find this girl, mindy, who is a sketch artist, and she guides you to the pros to make you a legend. The problem is that she is making a park with her buddies, but she doesn't have the right things, and that is where you step in. The game has a really mind-numbing soundtrack, with songs that either amaze you, or get stuck in your head, decent graphics, awesome customization(graffity creator), awesome features (BMXXX!!!), and is just plain fun to play with a friend. You can get off your board, throw it at people, hit people with it, spray paint virtually everywhere, climb up possible buildings, ropes, ledges, and just cause havoc in the most fun way. It is not revoultionary as a skating game, but as a fun, humorous adventure game, with a great storyline. The point is, Skate is definately the greatest skating game out there, (soon, skate 2) but if you want a fun, run around, adventure game, get this.
