Those of you who think that the ultimate form of badassery is Sam Fisher in 3D....think again.

I'll start off by saying that I am a huge fan of the Splinter Cell games and that I am in no way negatively biased towards them. I've loved them ever since the very first one and have stayed true even in their lesser attempts. However, when I played this, I was -very- let down. So much that I took it back because I didn't feel that it was worth being in my collection, and that's really saying something, because I own Sega Superstars Tennis.

Now, I'll tell you a few things that I DID like, however scarce the list may be, before i get into the numerous things that just -pissed- me off.

It's a true Splinter Cell game, I give it that. Stealth based on noise, light, environmental use, all that good stuff. The 3D effect was -okay- I suppose. Nothing too brilliant, but I'm not complaining.

Now, on to the bad things. (I told you that was going to be short.)

The controls in this game are -atrocious-. I absolutely hate them. It felt very awkward using the XABY buttons for camera control. And the fact that you have to switch weapons and do pretty much everything else on the touch screen, even in a spot of bother, annoys me. The graphics in this game aren't as good as one would hope. Now, I'm not being picky, because it -is- a handheld game, but just look at how beautifully rendered some of the other 3DS titles are. The AI of the enemies is just something I can't even fathom. They're incredibly dumb and put up no difficulty whatsoever.

All in all, I wouldnt buy this game. I spent 20 dollars on it new and when I turned it in for trade credit, I only got 3. This game is -really- not even worth 20 dollars.
