With Metroid Prime 2, Halo 2, and GTA:SA on my coffee table who would have thought I would be playing this?

I am impressed. I may be one of the few who loved the original, but also greatly enjoy the part two, The Original Ghost Recon offered the gamer a very stealthy game which relied more on positioning and tacked rather then gun slinging skills, this game offers more of a direct head on sort of game which will drive die hard fans of the original crazy, but will make more people as a whole enjoy the game. The Graphics are wonderful, the night effects are just great and the detail in each landscape is something that is just awesome. The strides between this one and the original are not huge but enough to make it seem less like an add on pack The Gameplay is a tricky beast, It took me a while to get it down cold, and my best advice is not to switch between various games while you are in the middle of GR2 because you forget what you leart fast, its complex but you apprciate it once you have it down. The Sound is yet again another aspect which just truly makes the game, you have to listen and listen well the lack of alot of sound and other stuff make for a more authentic feeling game, my ears are always perked up and ready just incase I hear footsteps or something of the sort in the distance, just well done. The Value of this game is what sells it, The Online play is WONDERFUL, and its one of the few games where almost every level when replayed goes differently I have played some levels at least a dozen times and they have been great every time. So it is a worthwhile replay thats for sure. I was very suprised with this, I have finished Halo 2 once, Metroid Prime is 18 hrs in, GTA:SA is 26 hrs in and here I am playing Ghost Recon 2 over all of them, I really do think this is a great pick up because it can appeal on so many different levels. -Z
