A very fresh game that can be tedious and addictive all at once.

I love how weird Tokyo Jungle is. Seriously, it's bananas.

I took on a pack of Lions as a Pomeranian. A cute, fluffy, goofy little Pomeranian. I was promptly torn to shreds. Such is life!

Later, as a Deer, I ran across rooftops as a relentless pack of Hyenas chased me through the city.

I squee-ed when I saw that dinosaurs were unlockable characters.

PROS:
-Monstrous amounts of content: There are dozens of animals to play as, and dozens of challenges and events to play through for each. Each round can last as little as ten minutes or as long as 2 hours, it all depends on how well you survive the Tokyo Jungle.
-Extremely fresh and innovative game: This is unlike any game you've likely played before. The very idea of playing as animals in a post apocalyptic, human-less city is something you don't see in todays gaming cluster-f*** of shooters and sports franchises.
-Quirky and funny: Even though it isn't necessarily trying to be, this game is damn funny. From cacthing fleas from desperate mating counterparts, to randomly encountering hostile Hippos on rooftops, or to try standing your ground against a Polar Bear as a Beagle, this game is so ridiculous and insane, it's hard not to smile and laugh while you struggle to survive such absurdity.

CONS:
-Repetitive and Tedious: While the game is fun and engaging, it also doesn't change much. I can usually only play it once every week or so, considering each creature plays similarly and the style of play is hardly different each round you play. This can get kind of frustratingly boring if you don't play in small doses.
-Techno: I kind of like the music on it's own, especially for its goofiness factor, but it's also horribly out of place and horrifyingly repetitive. There are only a few separate tracks, and they all have the same funky techno thumpa-thumpa that can be mind-numbingly annoying after hearing those same beats OVER AND OVER AND OVER. A more serious soundtrack, or at least a multitude more tracks, would be beneficial.

In the end, this game is still a fun adventure, even if a little tedious. I'll guarantee it offers quite a few laughs for anyone willing to experience something bizarre and new.
