One of the most touching stories ever.
Sure, there is virtually no gameplay, but the plot is excellently done. It constantly keeps your interest, with even the less moving parts interjected by hilarious comedy. Unless you are an emotionless robot, which unfortunately some of the people in the world are, the ending of the game will make you teary eyed. It also ends on a very high note, allowing you to remember it fondly for a long time after.
And the music! It reminds me of the music of earlier Final Fantasies and Chrono Cross/Trigger. No games have music like this anymore...
Unfortunately, most gamers will skip this over to play the latest CoD. Fortunately, i couldn't care less. As long as great games like this continue to get made, I'll be happy.
