This incredibly emotional game is worth every penny. It touches your heart in so many ways, while keeping interesting and fresh point and click gameplay mechanics intact to blend with the compelling tale of heart warming family interaction and heart breaking loss and despair. It WILL make you cry. I usually have trouble getting tears out of my eyes, even when I want to, but with this game, they just rolled down. I want to go ahead and recommend this game to everybody who likes an emotional and amazing story.

Overview:

Graphics: 9.0 Even though some characters look out of place at times, the visuals are technically impressive and beautiful, especially for an indie title.

Gameplay: 8.5 Fun and immersive, but occasionally lacking compared to other aspects of the game.

Music: 9.5 Every piece of music is both beautiful and simple, complimenting the game's fantastic atmosphere.

Atmosphere: 9.0 Every situation Rosalene and Watts get into is finely illustrated by an outstanding atmosphere and the dialogue adds tension, sadness, happiness, anger, or even sometimes frustration to the whole thing, all the more adding to the game's intense emotion.

Overall: 9.0 Despite some shortcomings in gameplay, To the moon is emotional, ambitious, beautiful, intense, tension filled, and should be an instant buy for indie fans.
