Although short, this is easily the best TMNT game released in over a decade.

I've been pretty disappointed with most current attempts at re-kindling the TMNT game franchise, but this game proves the Turtles can be done justice.

This is the best TMNT game released in over a decade. Unfortunately it will be over-looked by many based on it's platform and being released at the end of the GameBoy Advance's cycle, but it really shouldn't be.

I finally picked this game up about 5 days ago, and I'm glad I did. It is in essence, a classic beat-em-up much in the same vein as TMNT: The Arcade Game or Turtles in Time. However, it is somewhat more complex than those games. It features many different moves and weapons to pick up along the way, the action doesn't get old. It's quite frantic at times, and the speed is rather reflective of the Turtles ninja training. It's something you have to see to understand. You can upgrade your Turtles abilities along the way, and you'll see a big difference in your Turtles performance at the end of the game.

The graphics are superb (considering the platform) and the sound is good as well. You'll hear typical "Hee-ya's" and grunts as you dispatch thug after thug. The sound-track is nothing special: it's your typical, upbeat rock/techno mish-mash but it gets the job done.

The only real knock against this game is that it's too short. It takes only a few hours to beat, but there are different trophies to unlock which gives the game some replay-ability. Not to mention that replaying levels with your upgraded and improved Turtles is fun in itself.

In short, if you're a fan of classic beat-em-ups, the TMNT, or fun games in general, check this one out.
