Ignore those who tell you "Titanfall is new! Revolutionary! Amazing!" Titanfall is a frantic and yet somehow boring Call of Duty clone. It is run-and-gun, brainless shooting with a handful of modes available. There is no single player element, and no campaign - the only reason to play the 'campaign' is to unlock two of the three titan types.
The matchmaking is a joke - in fact, there does not appear to be any whatsoever. Players are thrown in with a random mix of gamers, with no attempt to match levels. Like CoD and Battlefield, Titanfall is forces you to engage in an arms race - your basic Titan and weapons are useless, and you must grind and suffer through matches to get enough experience to unlock new ones.
Don't buy this game. Rent it, borrow it, whatever. It is not worth your hard-earned money.
