Okay, I had a chance to play a friend's Titanfall Beta and I just don't see what all of the hype is about... First of all, it looks and feels like a COD game which is a big negative for me personally. Sure the movement is faster but the gun mechanics are essentially identical to COD games and the graphics are definitely COD-ish. Basically its COD meets Halo. Other problems include the fact that it is only 6vs6 which is inexcusable for a modern FPS games. Yes, 6vs6 is around the standard for MLG gameplay but its awful for pubs. Most of the enemies in the game are A.I. bots... Really? Bots? People don't play multi-player games to kill bots. We want a large number of human players. And what is worse is that the bots are extremely stupid. Another issue is that the weapons are horribly unbalanced with many of them being really easy to use. I am so tired of devs making these "casual-friendly" games with the crazy over-powered weapons that allow even the worst players to compete with competitive gamers. This dumbing down of FPS games is really killing the genre. Enough!
The game gets pretty repetitive and boring due to the easy weapons, horrible A.I. and just a general lack of challenge so I can't recommend it.
