I tried so very hard to get into The Witcher 3 but I just could not.
Gameplay: This should be everything right with gaming. But isn't.
First lets start with the good. The controls are fine, moving is good.
The story is fine.
You have an open world with everything.
Multiple endings
Dialogue choices
You can ride horses
Now with the bad.
The world is sprawling
Have sex
ECT ECT
The complexity. This game feels like a giant waste of time compared to every RPG I played. Instead of having a potion in your inventory during giant griffin fights you must craft each potion entirely. This is tedious and unnecessarily confusing. I've played RPG from the early 90's and they aren't this stupid.
The combat is bad. I feel like I'm fighting with skewers. Its such a fucking chore. Block, Dodge, Parry, slash
Also Magic You made something that should be so easy. so difficult and unnecessary to use.
Graphics: I was a little disappointed with the downgrade. Even more so with how poorly optimized it is. Even with everything lowered my computer could not run it so I had to upgrade. Even at the lowest possible Playstation 3 settings The Witcher 3 felt horrible. Even at 45 FPS. It's still looked beautiful but still.
Sound:Very atmosphere, good VA, everything.
I'm sorry but I don't get The Witcher . It's just me I guess. Maybe I'll never have enough time to Enjoy it. In fact. I never got into the Witcher 3. I'd much rather stick with Dark Souls. But more power to you if you are.
