The Witcher 3 offers you a massive open world game where their is so much to see and do you might not be near the end and of the game after over 100 hours there's so much content.
The games story has Geralt looking for Ciri who is on the chase from the Wild Hunt and it goes across so many locations and you shall come across many characters like Yennifer,Triss and Keira as some of the main allies in you quest.
The game plays like a hack and slasher in terms of combat but you have Witcher abilities that can confuse enemies,give you a protective shield,fire or a Telekintic Blast to help you. You level up and can charge up certain abilities to give you more chance on the battlefield. Also unless you do side missions and level up you won't be able to access weapons,armour. The game also tells you what level you should be to tackle certain missions and they can be pretty lengthy and long. and it offers plenty of opportunity to explore on your horse Roach. You gain upgrades like more storage by racing and more stamina.
The Alchemy system lets you make your weapon stronger by mixing your ingredients and supplies. Their is also a Blacksmith that can upgrade you weapons, armour and supplies. Speaking of weapons you can get swords,maces,hammers and more. Another apart of the game you will relish is the Witcher Contracts giving you an enemy type gather information using your Witcher sense for clues and eventually find out what you are dealing with and what it is vulnerable to.
Now the game has got a couple of flaws and some will see as maybe minor or not at all. The Gwent mini game is pointless and seems worthless and the fact that you can only fast travel when you reach a fast travel location unlike certain games that let you jump straight to that destination.
The character models are absolutely brilliant and the dialogue is well written making them believable. The overworld is massive and gorgeous one of the biggest in gaming and the view and scenery shows the true processing power as the console.
As for the amount you invest in the game it could be ages and not forgetting a new game plus as well there is just so much to see and do you might not even see everything when you have beaten the game.
Overall you suck many hours into The Witcher 3 with so much content and so many things to see and do there isn't many games like it at the moment and if you want to get absorbed into a big open world game the The Witcher 3 is one game not to miss.
