Be real this game is no better then a 7 but also no less then a 4. Their are things missing from the game create a style, pools, toddlers, even dishwashers and repairmen. Their is also no open world, but the game has its ups. The create a sim and build mode have greatly improved and the multitasking is incredible. The game feels smooth to play even for my dell inspiration and no open world allows the game to be full of life wherever you go. However DLC is a guarantee for this game just because its The Sims, but if you don't want DLC then simply don't buy it or pick the ones you like. I say try the game out for yourself if you haven't origin has a 24 hour return policy on digital downloads so no harm no foul.
