Dismal, ugh...

I got this game as a Christmas present, so I was not complaining. I was actually very excited to play as a fan of the movies, and of course games..but I really had not herd much about it and what I did hear was surprisingly good. That's why I was in total shock when I began to play. The graphics are the only redeeming quality, I'm too harsh you say, most people score this better, sure I guess for hack n slash, mindless game play with zero strategy it's fun, for about five minutes... I tried, I really did, I played thru the best I could before giving up, I could really stomach more than fifteen minutes of play at any one sitting.. Eventually I'll get back to it's mindlessness. If you need a break from thinking and just want to run into mindless hordes of easily dispatched characters, please be my guest. I even played all three characters quest lines I even went to a cheat code site and tried to make my character absurdly powerful so that I would not have to play this game as long or just to make things hilarious enough to play. It really is not much that much of a game...IMHO. You could do way better. I know there are better games out there and better LOTR games out there, I just happen to think this is not one of them.
