A pretty quick and easy game, but worth a look if you can find it cheap

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is definitely a fun game if you're interested in energetic hack and slash action.The graphics are top-notch for the time, the Lord of the Rings movie snippets are awesome, the combat system is great, and most of all, the game is just plain fun. Though most of The Two Towers revolves around combat, this never comes across as a game all about mindless "button mashing" - during a few of the later levels, a well-thought out strategy is absolutely necessary.

My biggest gripe with The Two Towers is that it is extremely short; my first playthrough was complete in just under five hours, and the replay value is fairly minimal. The linear level design is also a bit monotonous, but overall this is still a worthy experience. The gameplay is fun enough to make for a good afternoon-killer, and Lord of the Rings fans will definitely get a kick out of playing as their favorite characters. Considering how cheap most GC/Xbox/PS2 games are nowadays, this is worth a play if you missed it the first time around.
