The Legend of Zelda series has had me enthralled since its conception. This is mainly due to its enjoyable storylines, settings, and characters. In this new adventure we find our green-clad Hero once again taking up the sword to save his lady fair, Princess Zelda.

We have the same assortment of weapons with some awesome new additions; the Gust Jar, Mole Mitts, and the highly addictive Kinstones. This game has the look and feel of some older Zelda GBA titles, like the Oracle series and Link's Awakening, only this time we have a whole new race of diminutive creatures called the Minish. These cute little gerbil-like characters inhabit a world all their own. Much too small to be seen by regular people (except small children and animals like dogs and cats), they live in cracks and holes all over Hyrule.

Along with the Minish we have the Kinstones. Kinstones you can find everywhere - in treasure chests, by cutting down grass, and even as left over rewards for killing enemies. These green, blue, and red-colored stones come in pieces, which you can match with other people (even walls). When you make a match something wonderful happens somewhere in Hyrule: from vines disappearing to reveal an opening in a tree to new characters appearing with mysterious rewards.

My only regret with this game is that it ended too quickly, although you can certainly spend close to 20 hours or more searching for all the Hearts and doing side quests. I was a bit disappointed in this regard, because I certainly wanted to spend a lot more time immersed in this wonderful new world. Believe me, once you start to play you will feel the same way.
