Very different, but very creative and extremely amazing.
This game may take some time to get used to, it is not an in on the action straight away type of game. This game grows on you... it is just the sort of game that will leave an impact on you. This game was difficult at first... getting used to the type of time travel in this game was a bit hectic at first.
Although you grow to realize the quality of game this is when you begin to make an impact on the game. This game made finishing each temple/level an achievement. OoT was great, but other than receiving medallions and freeing the sages, the impact you got once you defeated a temple was not quite as big as Majora's mask...
By defeating a temple in this game, you can completely change the scenery... you can change everything around you, which opens leaves open more opportunities for side quests and items.
The whole 3 day cycle created an atmosphere that allowed for a lot more in the game than what was able to be implemented into other games of the time. What used to be frustrating in the eyes of many, has grown on them and become a quality masterpiece.
