Repetitive and boring. Did I mention repetitive?

Just hearing the series title "The Legend of Zelda," I expected another blockbuster hit from Nintendo. Truth be told, I was just flat-out disappointed.
So, I'm runnin' through the woods chasing some Skull Kid who took my precious Epona (by "I" I mean "Link") when I'm transformed into a deku scrub. From there, the story unfolds.
This is the part where the game--like most Zelda games--is supposed to get interesting. The same control-scheme as in Ocarina of Time, the same Ocarina, the same Link. On the other hand, different sword and shield, different land, and most especially (in my opinion), different entertainment level.
The game might have (and that's a big "MIGHT HAVE") been good if it weren't for one huge problem...the three-day time limit! In the game, it's three days, but for me, and you (and you, and you too, oh and you; you know who you are) it feels like half an hour (thirty minutes, if you've never done the math). With that said, it's a real pain-in-the-tush when you're in a dungeon trying to figure out a puzzle, finally solve it, and look at the time remaining and see that you only have less than a minute left before the moon crashes into Termina. GEEZ! It took a miracle to figure out that puzzle, and sometimes I don't even know what I did to solve it, and now I've gotta start over from the very beginning!?...Not my idea of fun.
The only battle that I enjoyed was the final battle; (I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't played it yet) everything else was either average or below.
In closing, I really want a cheesecake...WAIT, that has nothing to do with this game! What I meant was, I hope Nintendo doesn't make this same mistake again. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play Link's Awakening...and eat some Kap'n Crunch. (probably the only pirate captain who has never made his crew walk the plank, and if he did, he celebrated with a bowl of cereal)
