The Last of Us Review

User Rating: 9.5 | The Last of Us PS3
I had my doubts about buying The Last of Us. However, when I first played this game, I was blown away. The Last of Us is my personal favorite PS3 exclusive game to date. Just a little warning, this game is very very hard to stop playing. This is my review on The Last of Us.

The story is probably the best parts of The Last of Us. It does a great job telling the story and it truly impacts the player emotionally. I'm not the type of guy that get's attached to the character that I play as, but in The Last of Us I really care for the characters in the game. You play as a character named Joel. Along the story you meet a 14 year old girl named, Ellie, and you end up stuck with her. You spend most of the game with Ellie, or maybe the whole game. (I didn't finish it yet) You get really attached with Ellie because your so used to her being there, and sometimes you have to protect her. Overall the story is amazing and i don't want to spoil it for anyone.

The gameplay is really good in The Last of Us. This game has almost perfected a real feel for survival. This game does a great job on how you need to survive. You can't just pause the game to change weapon or take a health pack, you actually have to do it while your in game. You have to stay in cover and change weapon. Also the best part of the gameplay is that it makes you feel like you have to survive. There's barely any ammo for you and you'd have to scavenge for some when your out. Once again, this game has perfected a really good survival game.

The Last of Us is an amazing game and is nearly perfect. The only reason this doesn't get a 10/10 is because of the numerous glitches and just the stupidity that happens in the game sometimes. There not game breaking but it still is a bit disappointing to see. Sometimes your allies go through each other or there always in the way of where you want to go. Also there's just those little glitches that happen in the game but is still not game ruining.

Overall, if you don't own The Last of Us, I highly recommend you do.
