Finally a proper representation of a fighting game!

Finally...
I have been waiting for years for a game like this.
A proper street fighting game that has all the skull cracking grunge-ness of a real street fight.

Art
The graphics are brilliant...
Never has a game represented its genre better in my opinion.
It has a very gloomy and grimey feel, which puts you in the mood for a good scrap, plus the only colour that seems to show up properly is red. The red being the blood.
Character models are brilliant, and are obviously based on real fighters such as street fighting legend Kimbo Slice etc.
The environments are also, very unwelcoming, which means theres only one thing for it.... Fight ur way out!

Move Gameplay
I have found that you have to have nearly perfect lighting conditions and as little as possible in you room for the best effect!
In other words, a plain and light background and a nice bright room.
I found the hud a bit annoying to navigate, especially when looking thru the rewards, where you have to move the controler each time you want to go to the next item.

Gameplay
The Gameplay is brilliant.
The training is superb especially the Pad training, which will sharpen your punching relexes / skills.
I dont like the Heavy bag, as it doesnt rely on skill, but hitting the red target as many times as possible. The swing on the bag is poor, and if it swings slowly, which it does 90% of the time, it can swing away from you, and take ages to come back, therefore, you fail the training.
Endurance sparring and Sparring are great!
There are many special moves in the game, such as Headbutts, headlocks and other dirty tricks, some are very slow to execute, and I think I only use about 4, due to the difficulty of some of them.
But even with 4, you can do much damage, which is very rewarding.
One thing that is bad in my opinion, is the "Beat your opponent before the time runs out." fights. These opponents basically run around landing a few blows and fleeing. I find these annoying.

For fitness
This game is great for your fitness, although I feel that Coldwood could have done more with the fitness part of it.

I use it as a training tool, doing
2 rounds of speed ball
3 rounds of Pad training
3 rounds of Endurance sparring
then do 6+ fights
They have a calorie system in the game, but it is underused.
Firstly, they call a "Round", a "Session".
They give a calorie burn score at the end of every Round, but then dont give you the total calories burned in that session.

EG
1 round of speed ball 1 x 50 cals
1 round of Pad training 1 x 50 cals
1 round of Endurance sparring 1 x 50 cals
Total cals in this session... 150 cals

They really should add up the calories burned in all the rounds, in one session and give you a total.
Only then can you use it as a fitness tracker....
It would also be great if you could plan a workout and it put them in order for you... As above.

Multiplayer is brilliant too :) although i dont use it that much

Sound
The music is very easy to listen to and definitely gets your blood pumping! The Sound effects of the hits are awesome.
In fact all sounds effects are awesome.
