You have 4 lives, dungeons and towns to explore, a bunch of items to find and no saving. I finally beat it a week ago using an emulator but needed to save throughout the game. I don't know who's anyone hardcore enough to beat this game without saving, I don't understand what they were thinking. Especially when you fight Zak( the end boss) at the end of the game, think of playing the classic Mario except DK's on crack throwing 2-3 barrels at a time, they roll down faster, and every barrel bounces in random spots on the way down. I went through the entire game without cheating but couldn't beat the end, it didn't make any sense. The background music is pretty annoying after 5 or 10 minutes, by the end i had to turn the volume right off. Rolling while you land gets really frustrating while trying to jump on platforms. I had fun solving the puzzles and figuring out what item did what. I have no idea why I own this game, or anyone. 5/10
