This game was terrible! From the controls, to the screen layout, to the gameplay itself, nothing about "The Crow: City of Angels" was worth crowing about.

To take such a fantastic comic book story, which was adapted into a great movie, and then turn it into a horrible game was just so infuriating. The player obviously controls the title character through multiple mind-numbing levels in his quest to seek justice for his girlfriend's murder, as well as his own.

The camera perspective kept changing from scene to scene, and oftentimes was in such an awkward position that the player couldn't see obstacles or adversaries. The title character could obtain weapons, to include shotguns, but if the player tried to fire it at close range, he would instead bludgeon the adversary with the weapon, which would render the shotgun useless. This was the case with all the weapons (to include the blunt weapons); each was able to deal a finite number of blows before being rendered useless.

The adversaries in "The Crow: City of Angels " were walking clichés. The statements they would make before engaging the title character became tiring very quickly, as each type of character had only one available phrase; it was so annoying that you will want to turn the sound off.
