The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, could be the most visually stunning game for any videogame console to date. With this style of gameplay, I think of this game as "everything Breakdown shoulda been". Though, I am not hating on the great Namco game, Riddick plays in the same style as Breakdown so that makes is easy to compare. besides that, to fully understand the graphics in this game, I had to learn the new buzz-word that is traveling in tight circles around the videogame globe: Normal Mapping. Normal Mapping is similiar to bump mapping but better. The game feels short, but I noticed I logged a good 12 hours on it. On top of that, you play as Riddick! That really throws you in the game. Especially with the voice talents of Vin Diesal reprising his role as Riddick. And X to the Z: Xzibit, who is a trash talking corrupt officer of Butcher Bay. All in all, The Chronicles of Riddick is an excellent use of a movie lisence (Read: a game based on a movie that doesn't suck) and I highly recomend this to anyone who owns an Xbox
