The little game that could....
As it stands The Bouncer is an OK game, fighting mechanics are average, the visuals are lacking (but still impressive if you consider that this was one of the first PS2 games) and the voices are typically annoying.
That said, the points that make this game worth writing about are it's storyline and impressive originality.
The story is cleverly thought out and implemented, with unexpected twists and turns that will leave you gasping for breath. Further more playing through as different characters will reveal many differences in the storyline.
I would recomend renting this game, giving it a good thrashing, then returning it.
