While not the best fighting game, The Bouncer can hold its own.

This was the first game that I got right after buying the PS2. Back then The Bouncer was a pretty good game and had some of the better seen graphics for its time. It is reminiscent of classic games like "Streets of Rage" and "Fighting Force".

I thought it would be an interesting game coming from Square, the makers of the Final Fantasy series. The game seemed flashy in the beginning but ended up not giving as great an impression as I had thought it would. It could have used a 2 player story mode and more playable characters.
You get to play as one of three characters. You gradually fight for points that you can later use to upgrade your skills. By the end you will be turning out some great moves and combos.

Overall The Bouncer was not the worst game I've played, but its not the best either.
