User Rating: 10 | The Banner Saga PC

Had never heard of the game and was visiting Gamespot.com to look up Assassins Creed 4 reviews when Gamespot's The Banner Saga ad slapped me in the face. Sometimes I like games that I can play but do not require my undivided attention, (PvZ, Kingdom Rush, etc...). After reading the review on Gamespot, this seemed to fall under that category. What was intriguing was that it almost seemed like Viking Oregon trail meets Disney Movie meets Goosebumps pick your route through the book. I then watched the trailers, which I found to be TERRIBLE, they brought me very close to not buying the game.

But as the Gamespot review said, in The Banner Saga, you need to trust your instincts, so I did, I bought it. I played it for about 4 hours straight last night and loved it. It admittedly took about an hour to get my bearings, but the first time that you have to make one of those "trust your instincts" moves in the game and you end up losing that viking warrior that you have been focused on upgrading, your hooked. Very cool, never played anything like it.
